No rest for the wicked? Hopefully not. How about no rest for the incredibly antsy.
I'm transferring to ASU this semester for school. After the past few months of playing bike racer, this descent back into the real world of deadlines, the logistics of transferring schools, and the disorganized reality of moving has been a bit overwhelming. Ah, stress. Bummer.
After a quick laundry exchange, I drove down to Kentucky the day after getting back from Bend. From there, Clayton and I drove down to Boone, NC to find an apartment.

We stopped along the way to hang out on the lake with good friends
before continuing on down to North Carolina the next day. After finding an apartment at the tippy top of the tallest mountain and signing a lease like a real adult (yeah!) we did some backwoods camping before driving back to Kentucky the next day.
We hiked across a river to find a flat spot to camp.
What's camping without moccasins?
And like true girl scouts, we used rocks from the river to make a fire pit. Yeah!
Two days after Boone, Clayton and I were lucky enough to head out to St. Louis with very good peoples. I wish I could put up pictures of the trip but they just won't seem to upload. Anyways, we went to the Arch and to City Museum, aka the coolest place I have/will ever go. It's a 600,000 square foot ex-shoe factory turned childrens museum where there aren't any rules and you can climb on/over/under everything. The place is so wild and the climbing is so hard it's a miracle the place is still open. And despite being a childrens museum, and depsite being mostly kids, 20 was the perfect ago to go. 10/10***!!!

What a busy summer it's been. Now I'm home for two weeks before moving everything down to North Carolina.
I've been very fortunate this summer to do so much racing and traveling. Big thanks to Attitude Sports for helping me get to nationals and to everyone else who've helped me this first half of the season. I'm so grateful!
Till the next adventure!
