I leave for Belgium in a little under two weeks and have to (get to?) finish up the semester before I leave. Being off the bike for a week until the concussion headaches go away has given me alot of time to be productive and research things. And by productive I mean I cooked eggs in a frying pan instead of the micowave and, well I guess that's about it. And by research I mean I spent twenty minutes staring at the websites of the races we're gonna be doing in Europe before concluding they're not in English, but the pictures look really, really intimidating. One race is GP Stad Roeselare, a one day UCI 1.1 classic in Belgium, and the other is Garcia-Orlova, a 2.2 UCI stage race in Czech Republic. Having never raced in Europe before, I have no idea what a World Cup race actually entails, but I'm completely white faced nervous already. It sounds pretty real.
And I cross my heart pinky swear to update this thing from Europe. I would get a twitter, but what I have to say is way too important to confine to 140 characters (just kidding!) Twitter confuses me. I hate all the linking and retweeting. I just don't know how to read it. And the only other person who reads this blog is my mom, and I don't think she knows how to read twitter either.

I read your blog!! <3 <3 <3 Although Redlands was a bust, I bet you have the best tanlines in Boone, and sometimes it's all about the little victories =) Love you lady.
Also, how bad was/is your concussion? Where did you hit your head at? I hope it's a lot better by now!
Europe!
Hey Emily! The concussion is good (haha), still having headaches and weird short term memory problems so supposed to be off the bike till that goes away, but the blurry vision and the idoit like speaking is better (I think. Maybe I was just always like that) How're you doing?
