Across the country in 26 hours. 6 of us in a 13 passenger van. Roomy. Like a traveling band only muddier. Raced up a mountain to 10,000 feet. Crazy. Casualties: couple bikes. No people. Snacks did not survive. New Mexico desert at night. Saw a shooting star for the first time. Hope it wasn't a plane. 40 billion stars. 26 hours straight home. Dressed up as grimy kids in a van for halloween.
Craziest thing I've ever done for a bike race. Never have had more fun.
Real post soon! Gotta catch up on a weeks worth of school in three days before we leave again for UCI3
At least if I fail there'll be many more mtb nationals to come.
